Asha Social Foundation is a public charitable trust committed to the educational, social, and economic transformation of Poladpur Taluka, Raigad District, Maharashtra. Founded by Shrimati Asha Keru Kadam, the foundation works with a deep-rooted belief that sustainable development must begin at the village level.
Despite abundant natural resources and brave human capital, the region faces challenges such as unemployment, migration, lack of healthcare access and limited exposure to modern education. Our foundation works to address these gaps through sustainable, community-led solutions.
We also proudly work for the welfare of 2,500+ serving and retired soldiers and police personnel belonging to Poladpur Taluka.
Our initiatives focus on preventing rural migration by creating local employment, promoting organic agriculture, skill development, women entrepreneurship, healthcare infrastructure, AI education, and welfare schemes for soldiers.
We also strive to preserve the historical, cultural, and spiritual identity of Poladpur Taluka.

Poladpur Taluka, nestled in the pristine Sahyadri ranges, is blessed with rich natural resources, fertile organic soil, abundant tropical fruits, a glorious historical legacy, and above all, resilient and hardworking people. Yet, despite these blessings, our region faces persistent challenges—migration of youth to cities, limited employment opportunities, gaps in quality education, healthcare access, and skill development.
At Asha Social Foundation, we firmly believe that true development begins at the grassroots. Our mission is to transform villages into self-reliant, skilled, and empowered communities—where people can live with dignity, opportunity, and pride without being compelled to leave their homeland.
Through our initiatives in education, scholarships, AI and skill-based learning (“Skill Village”), women entrepreneurship, organic farming, agro-processing, eco-tourism, healthcare infrastructure, and soldier welfare, we are striving to create sustainable livelihoods and a secure future for our people. Our vision includes establishing AI schools, women empowerment cells, primary healthcare centers, and employment-generating ventures rooted in local strengths.
We also carry a deep reverence for our historical and cultural heritage—from the valour of Narveer Tanaji Malusare and the Chitre warriors to the spiritual legacy of Lord Kal Bhairavnath. Preserving and glorifying this identity is not merely history—it is inspiration for generations to come.
